...exams finished, both 2.0 Next semester I'll do the last two and I'll have a slighly better paid job from January on, now with 80% more databases! Databases aren't the most interesting or even impressive things to program, but I think it will be great to have done that at least once in a more professional manner.

Okay... so... I was away with almost no internet at home until the late evening 2 days ago... and I just managed to catch up on most stuff. Now I can finally make a new journal!

So... first my brother (I'll use the name En for him.) came to visit me and my sister (gonna call her... Slick.) here in Hamburg.We watched a lot of movies, like we always do when we get together. Then my other sister (hm... let's go with... Kira.) also visited us and we just talked and goofed around! Oh, her boyfriend (This one will be easy... Guy!) also visited. I love it when we manage to get together!
Sadly Kira and Guy had to leave after just some hours, but it was still a lot of fun.

The next day En, Slick, me and our 2nd flatmate (... dang, this is hard... I'll go with Cat) went shopping as in getting new clothes. I lost quite some weight and all my old clothes look terrible. Actually... that was an old present for my birthday 2 years ago. I got the same present this year - some money for new clothes - so we had a lot to work with - even now I still have 80 € left I shall only use for bying new clothes! I got 2 jeans and 2 shirts and I think they do look a lot better, even though they lack the big pockets I LOVE on my old trousers. They are so useful to have! Oh well, can't have everything I guess.

Then we got to my parents home together and stayed there until January 1st. The first days were kinda... tough because of things I'll not go into, but that was expected by everyone. We still managed to make the days ok and then all went really well! We made pizza and cooked a lot of other stuff (I don't know the names... and I can't even look it up ). We also played a lot of games, but the most played were "Risiko" (Risk), the original version (it seems to be some kind of rarety now and kinda expensive on e-bay), Black stories and Labyrinth (but this time not the original version... this one was kinda easy, much more dependend on luck instead of planing and all in all a little bit more lame, but ok). And again we watched a lot of movies.

Then we made a new foto for our dad to put up in his office - the old one was... too old. And then new year's eve came. We made just a small party at Kiras and Guys place... with only us 5 and another friend. It was cozy and very nice! Then we drove home the next day - me and Slick that is. En will join us again tomorrow. He'll get back to Austria the next day though.

So there, that was what I was up to the last 2 weeks. So yeah, I hope everyone had a nice christmas too and I wish everyone a (late) happy new year!

Time for another journal, the last one was toooo old. Way too old.

Sooo... I'm gonna be a tutor at my university. Nothing too cool - data structures and algorithms. Basics.

Also tried out for a lot of other jobs, I even got rather positive answers in 2 interviews, but they don't call back so... what's that about? If you don't wanna take me then say so. If you want me to work for you then friggin' say so. I can't read minds... from too far away. /shot
I mean yes, you can wait until you have a better one later but... if you keep that up then you might just not bother hiring anyone at all - you could just get a better one later, right? If I am good enough then let me work, if not then not. I was there first, that should count for something too.

I also got an MP3-player. Old one. Given to me for free. I had one once but it never worked longer than 2 weeks so... I just got back to my trusty MP3-CD player.
But then the stores changed the CDs or something - they are crappy quality now. Either they get fragments and erros in the tracks after 4 weeks or they get burned that way in the first place. *sigh* Everything was better in the past! /shot
Also it kinda sucks to have to burn another CD when you found a track you really like, even if you do it in sessions and you kinda have to reburn after some weeks anyways.

Also: Minecraft.
It's awesome. I've been building for weeks now and the outcome is still not finished. But it is enourmous already. I'm thinking of lifestreaming running around at a later time, but who knows when.
I wonder if Minecraft creations are viewed as art - they should be in my oppinion. But screenshots are just not cutting it - after all I put some stuff inside and I also thought about how stuff looks if you go towards them when I planned them at the beginning. My notebook is full of sketches and layouts for rooms Ok, not THAT full, but still some are there. Most of the time I sketch in Minecraft itself.

And summer is over - yay! OMG... I'm smelling... pot. WTF?
Uhm... AS I WAS SAYING... summer is over. I like that, though I have to admit - this was the best summer I remember. With lots of rain and rather cool. Maybe that means the winter will be mild too. o3o
